This challenging landscape was built over a couple of years, starting with the infrastructure; septic systems, rock walls and forming a level area for use as a small lawn. The main planting, was complete in June 2012 and includes a mixture of native plants, shrubs, perennials, trees and hedge plants. Deer are common in the area so all the plants were selected to be deer resistant. A large, illuminated water feature sits at the entrance to the house and features 3 basalt columns.
