We have nominated this week’s Plant Of The Week the Achillea ‘Moonshine’. With so many wonderful plants in bloom at the moment it has been difficult to choose just one. However, Moonshine has to feature as one of our all time favourites!
Its beautiful yellow flower clusters last for several weeks and look fantastic in combination with both Lavender and May Night Salvia, both previous Plant Of The Weeks. It has soft green-grey foliage which looks well in both mediterranean and xeriscape style plantings.
Our photos show the Achillea Moonshine and a roadside bank planted with a variety of Achilleas. There are several varieties available some of which may self-seed, as may be the case in the photo!
